This is apparently a problem with a lot of audio software on the Mac with latest OSX.

Certainly turning off the security setting has helped people with the latest version of Audition.

Finally, they said that Audition does NOT work with Mojave and that for the time being I would have to revert to High Sierra.

Very, very difficult task according to an Apple tech who has had issues with Adobe recently.

I have the option of recording in Audacity, then Importing into Audition, but who wants to make those extra steps I hope they intend to create a fix, or I will have to look for a new program.

I also spoke with an Apple Tech about rolling back to High Sierra, so I will not be doing that.

Did you download the lame drivers Anyway, try again and tinker, hope you can get it to work.

Accordingly its Apple who have to fix this, but first you have to get them to admit that theyve screwed it up, because they probably dont see it like that.
